Python Job: Mainframe Consultant

· Software engineering competency across languages such as C/C++, awk, Shell scripting, Python.

· A lexer/parser tool such as ANTLR would be an added advantage.

· Good understanding of IBM Mainframe Copybooks or COBOL.

· Well versed with EBCDIC and ASCII formats and their conversion into one another.

· Software Delivery technical skills such as CI/CD, Automated Deployments, Automated Testing, Build Servers, Software / Source Code Configuration Management.

· Knowledge of core AWS data services such as: S3, RDS, EC2, KMS

· Platform automation tools (DB Management, AWS, Jenkins, GITHUB)

· Proven ability to use relevant data analytics approaches and tools to problem-solve and trouble-shoot.

· Good written & verbal communication skills

· Apply pro-actively & perform hands-on design and implementation of best practice CI/CD

· Coaching & mentoring of other Service Team members

· Develop/contribute to software verification plans and quality assurance procedures

Salary: $120,000.00 – $160,000.00 per year
